MILMAR Solution was founded with the idea of ​​turning many years of experience in performing engineering and leadership activities in renowned global tire manufacturing companies into a "win-win" situation for service users and the company.

Our main activity is providing comprehensive support in the process of extruding profiles for the production of tires:

  • Tool design (die and pre-die) for the extrusion process
  • Projects for reducing of rework and scrap generation
  • Conducting "WET" tests and "Acceptance" protocols for machines and equipment
  • Initial definition of production parameters and commissioning of machines
  • Preparation and management of the "RAMP UP" phase of production
  • Training of operators and technicians

We evaluate the existing process and make suggestions for possible improvements, in terms of increasing production capacity, quality of extruded semi-finished products and reducing production costs.

We provide consulting regarding design of a new extrusion process, so that at the very start your process is optimal, with appropriate capacity and quality, with defined necessary equipment and tools.

For your existing processes, we do review of work methods and propose improvements, in terms of checking the necessary time for the execution of defined activities, calculating machine capacities and determining the necessary workforce for your production needs.

In cooperation with an external expert team, we also offer the evaluation of other production processes and quality systems with the definition of effective action plans for continuous improvement.

FOUNDER

Marko Milovanović, M.Sc. in Engineering, founder of the company, after completing high school, enrolls in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Niš, where he earns the title of Master of Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Mechanical Construction and Mechanisation.

His first engagement comes in 2010, working on equipment design and defining manufacturing technology for machine parts.

During his career, he completes a master's degree and in 2013 earns the title of Master of Industrial Management.

Through continued involvement with globally recognized companies, he acquires important competencies in terms of manufacturing technology for various product types, with a commendable knowledge of the tire production and a specialization in the extrusion process.

Engagement

Toyo tires - Lead extrusion engineer (2021-2024)

Setting up extrusion process at greenfield project. Defining: Process flow, CP, FMEA, SOPs and Check lists. Performing WET tests at newly installed equipment, leading acceptance protocol and ramp up phase of production. Training of production specialists, supervisors, technicians and operators for extrusion process. Passing best practice regarding quality and capacity of production. Leading of technology team members engaged in industrialisation process for new tread and sidewall parts. Responsible for design of extrusion tools for treads, sidewalls and inerliner. Daily monitoring of process performance (DMS) and creation of corrective actions for priority problems.

Michelin - Senior extrusion engineer (2020-2021)

Industrialization of semi-finished extruded products for Tier1 tire line (Michelin tire brand). Support to workshop during new machine industrialization and ramp-up period. Engaged in projects that improve product quality and production capacity. Providing training and mentoring to new employees.

Tigar Tyres, part of Michelin group - Extrusion engineer (2016-2020)

Extrusion Engineer in R&D department, focused on Tier3 tire line and 2W tire line. Designing of extrusion tools (pre-forms and dies). Industrialization of semi-finished products for tire creation (treads and side-walls), responsible for extruding of products from 2, 3, 4 and 5 compounds, with carbon black and silica based fillers. Creation of regulations and instructions for mass production.

Tigar Tyres, part of Michelin group – Industrial engineer (2015-2016)

Performing time studies to improve Standard working time. Evaluation of equipment capacity and propose improvement strategies. Performing problem solving activities in order to eliminate bottlenecks. Defining best layout in shops and optimazing material flow. Design of working places which fulfill all safty and ergonomic requirements. Support to shops managers in implementing and sustain of management od daily performance.
